Your kitchen cabinets should last you up to 50 years. However, if it’s becoming more trouble than it’s worth to keep them resurfaced, it may be a sign that you need to replace them. If your cabinets have water damage, mold, or feel soft, it’s a sign that you should replace them. While cabinets do last longer than the kitchen sink, they’ll still need to be replaced someday.
