Buying a home is like buying a used car: You should inspect all of its inner workings before making the deal, or you risk spending money on repairs. Always inspect a home’s plumbing before you buy. If a seller has nothing to hide, they should allow it. Look at the pipes, and make sure they’re not lead. Inspect the water heater for buildup. Look for any signs of leaks.
