If you are a live music fan, there are plenty of great places to go in Frisco, Texas. Whether you want a day out with the family, to listen to a good band over a few drinks, or just relax with some music while you eat dinner, there is something for everyone. Here are just a few of the fantastic venues Frisco has to offer!
1. Bars and Grills
Many of Frisco’s restaurants offer live music, alongside good food, so if you have a celebration planned, or a meal out with the family, why not consider Grover’s Grill and Bar, where there is music almost every night? Manny’s Tex-Mex Grill is another great space! It hosts local musicians every Friday and Saturday, including the genres rock, country, Americana, hootenanny, and much more!
2. Perry’s Steakhouse
Where better to go with a date than a luxurious steakhouse? If you visit Perry’s from 6 PM, from Monday to Saturday, you will also be treated to live entertainment as you dine. Offerings include talented pianists and live jazz acts.
3. Stan’s Main Street
In the heart of Frisco, Stan’s Main Street has live music 6 nights a week, from 7 to 10 PM. This includes regular Tuesday performances from Dallas country artist Mick Tinsley. Other acts are local musicians such as Bruce LaBarge and Luke LaGrange, plus open mic nights, so you too can take to the stage and showcase your skills!
4. Frisco City Council Chambers
If classical music is more your interest, Frisco City Council Chambers could be the place to go. Hosting occasional performances from popular musical groups, including Astraios Chamber Music, this venue is easy to find: It’s located just off Frisco Square, next to the public library.
5. Frisco Square
Events throughout the year make Frisco Square a great place to go with the whole family. The end of November saw the square’s Light and Music Extravaganza: four evenings of live music to get families into the holiday spirit. At other points in the year, look forward to happenings such as Music in the Square, a popular annual event during which live musicians perform in the square every Saturday throughout June.
6. eSpíritu Bar
eSpíritu Bar offers live music between Thursdays and Saturdays from 9 to 11 PM. Located on Frisco Square Boulevard, this classy wine and ale bar is a great place for couples to relax or groups of friends to while away the evening hours. Musicians include favorites such as Prag Padilla and Chuck Ligon, playing a range of blues, country, and southern rock. No matter your preference, there is music for everyone in Frisco, and there is far more to offer than could be listed here. With different options available every night of the week, there is no need to miss out on anything. Work your way around town, and try them all!
