Located on the corner of the Dallas North Tollway, the Dr. Pepper Arena is a multi-purpose complex. Home to the Texas Tornado hockey team and the Texas Legends basketball team, the Dallas Stars also use it as their home practice arena. With seating for up to 6,000 people, this is a great place to watch the professionals shoot hoops or skid across the ice.
4. Dr. Pepper® Ballpark
If baseball is your sport of choice, then the Dr. Pepper Ballpark is great destination. Seating 10,000, it has been ranked among the top ballparks in the United States. The site includes a restaurant, party decks, and additional space for spectators on the outfield grass. It is also home to minor league team the Frisco RoughRiders.
5. Fieldhouse USA
Want to see local talent? For a game between smaller clubs or recreational leagues, visit Fieldhouse USA. This multi-purpose indoor facility is equipped with a large food court and multiple hardwood courts, as well as indoor turf for soccer games. If you have any sports fans in your family, taking them to a game is bound to be a hit, but the atmosphere of a live game makes it a fun and vibrant experience even for those who don’t support a specific team.
